APSEF Assists Aurora Public Schools
The APSEF Vision:
To fund educational initiatives and innovative opportunities in the Aurora Schools Community.
An advocate for quality education, APSEF:
- fosters active community support.
- ensures that post-secondary tuition is available to APS faculty, staff and students.
- secures resources to support innovative classroom initiatives for which federal, state
- and local funding is unavailable and/or insufficient.

- We’re thrilled to be partnering with Comcast on Comcast Cares Day 2012. On Saturday, April 21 with 130 Comcast employees, their families and friends, we’ll be able to accomplish painting 18 classrooms at North Middle School.
- We are proud to be part of a national day of service, and this year we anticipate having more than 670 projects in 39 states and Washington D.C. and contributing more than 400,000 hours of community service in one day.
- This year marks the 11th Comcast Cares Day, and we are pleased to be joining Comcast as they start their second decade of demonstrating how much of a difference one day can make.
- The Aurora Public Schools Education Foundation (APSEF) is truly grateful for our partnership with Comcast during Comcast Cares Day, as it draws attention to the needs of the community and encourages others to get involved.
